This sounds like a great adventure. There is still time to sign up to volunteer.

If only it were a couple of years from now...I'd be all over this.

I find it so exciting, Maggie, and would love to be one of the volunteers. At 68 I'm in great shape and very healthy but still have limitations. I can still dream about it however and can't wait to hear how it turns out.

Do martian women just hang out in bikinis all day long?

They certainly do, JJ, but they always wear their hiking boots.

That is an interesting combination. My wife wouldn't go anywhere with me if I wore my fishing boots (Mush Puppies) with shorts.

In Portland OR when it got up to 60 degrees people ran around in shorts, parka, Birkenstock shoes and socks. Tell your wife, maybe she'll reconsider.

No I'm not going to volunteer but if I were a few years younger I certainly would give it a go. The high altitude isn't for me.

Me too. I wish I was younger and I would jump on that wagon. Besides, a chance to visit your area, woopee...... Beam me there.

I understand, Gen, it would be a great adventure and just imagine how much we could learn?

I remember the first time the shuttle took off. I had a huge party. NASA is actively looking at long space trips and its impact. Gosh, I hope we do go to Mars. I would find that structure on that planet and take photos to send to all my friends here. The face on Mars. How cool would that be? Can I use your camera?

Yes, you may use my camera, I've been drooling over a 41X optical zoom so while you take photos of earth and I can take photos of you photographing me. That would be divine.

Go to Edit content one the black bar at the top of the page and click on the change/remove button at the right of your picture. Click on "upload" and a box will appear on the left side of that page.Find the photo you want to upload and follow the instructions. You can make the photo smaller or larger, then scroll down and click to have it post. It took me a few tries before I got it right but it truly works.

Pull down the Publish menu and click on "Write Article". In the right hand corner there is a "Insert Media" and the first "0" is image. Load your photos on this one. I use the write article one as it is easier for me. You can post as many photos as you like. Type in a title, a blurb if you wish, fill in the category and tags and click on the groups added to "All of Newsvine" you wish to post your photos to. Sorry I misunderstood. I hope I've helped this time. I can't wait to see your photos, will you give me a heads up?
