This campus will be built about a mile from my house and just a bit above the Kona airport. This is a great opportunity for those that wish to further their education and a excellent location.

We weren't sure this was going to become a reality. I think the placement of the school will certainly be of great benefit. Public Transportation on the island is not like the cities embrace so having a campus closer for those that must travel a great distance this will truly be a convenience.

True, mstanley. I may have to get a degree myself. Some of the people here on the island have never been off the island. They are absolutely precious yet lack skills in parenting, early child development and work ethic. It isn't their fault as they truly have such a small range of experience but I could make it a lot of fun for them to beef up their knowledge and skills.

Science, now that one will get them too. Skills are always needed. It is the why I love computers, the only machine that can tell you how to use it. :)

I love science, too, mstanley. It's so funny that when I was in high School I tested high in science and was told there really wasn't a place for me. Well, I taught myself and am just as content. My dad had a 3rd grade formal education before heading out for cattle drives. He was self taught and told me that "book learnin'" didn't end in the classroom and experience was a might fine teacher. That truly stuck.

My step-daughter is a forensic anthropologist and is an assistant professor at a Missouri university. She has so many adventures under her belt and is always coming up with absolutely wonderful stories.
I've requested membership to the group. Thanks a whole bunch.
